Shadow of the Colossus Looks Epic in New Video as Developers Explain How they Remade the Graphics

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment Published a video of the Shadow of The Colossus PS4 remaster.

The video features some wonderful gameplay, and includes commentary in Bluepoint Games Art Director Mark Skelton, Co-Founder Marco Thrush, and Technical Director Peter Dalton as they describe how they improved the game’so images.

We hear the environments have been remade from scratch carrying the initial game for a template, and also programmers have strived to communicate the scale of this vistas that we’ll experience.

Cartoon has been redone, and details which were not contained in the first game are added making it up for things that weren’t technically possible back in 2005.

A new physics program has been inserted, involving things such as his horse’s tail along with the protagonist ’ s poncho.
