With the recent release of L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, we’re still only waiting on one last version of the game: L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files. Thankfully, we won’t even need to wait much longer — L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files will be released on December 15, 2017.
Initially, the VR version of the Team Bondi-developed detective game has been due out on November 14, 2017, alongside the release of another console ports. Nevertheless during Take-Two’s quarterly results in early November, the mega-publisher noted that the game was postponed — currently targeting a launch window of December 2017. Thankfully, Rockstar will quickly be fulfilling that window.
Little else is known about L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files — we got a new back of screenshots in mid-November displaying the viewpoint of detective Cole Phelps. Other than that, DualShockers went hands with all the Nintendo Switch re-release of the six-year-old game, noting that it’s a “solid interface… which Switch owners must consider. ”
As mentioned previously, L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files will be available exclusively for HTC Vive; nonetheless, the normal console version of L.A. Noire is available immediately for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, along with Xbox One.
