Fate/Extella Link Has a Release Date in Japan Plus New Servants

Publisher Marvelous has just released a short teaser trailer for the upcoming Fate/Extella Link ahead of the new year. This new trailer, found under, brings to light a few new figures, and possibly more importantly, a good launch date in Japan.

Much like past series names, Fate/Extella Link will comprise hack-and-slash action against large numbers of enemies.   Link will include a facelift to the engine as well, with updated graphics and versions.

According to the TV trailer there are even more servants planned to be included, but from that trailer we’ve:

Charlemagne, voiced by Ryohei Kimuram is a fresh addition to this roster. He unites as a sabre-class fighter with a blunt and not so regal personality.

Fate/Extella Link was first revealed back in August 2017 and is being made by Marvelous to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, and — based on this announcement — is set to launch in Japan on June 7, 2018. While a British localization has not yet been announced yet, it’s almost no wonder that you’re coming, given the series’ history. Check out the fast 30-second trailer below:
