“[Our map update includes] a lot of new things of interest, for example, town, and a bunch of new named areas in the west from the map. We felt [the west] was a little bit light on things of interest, therefore we wanted to even the island out and make it feel as if there were more locations to drop into.

We’ve also separated the map into more clearly-defined ‘biomes. ’ The daybed feels swampier, the hills feel more mountain-ey…actually, the various areas of the map feel more unique. There is also a whole lot of quality-of-life improvements.”

It allows new players have a bit of an edge over experienced veterans as the two of these operate towards beating themselves with new obstacles, balancing the scales a little more fairly.
