Dynasty Warriors 9 Gets New Screenshots Showing Exploration, Hunting, Fishing and Gathering

Today Koei Tecmo introduced a fresh batch of screenshots of its upcoming open-world Musou game Dynasty Warriors 9.

The screenshots provide another look at some facet of the game’s character that is open-world, beginning with mining. Scattered across the territory the player can come across quite a few of watchtowers. Climbing to the surface may provide details about the surrounding area, and indicate points of interest to the map.

Straying off the path in woods, mountain ranges, and waterfronts will cause the discovery of substances which may be accumulated, including rare items that could assist with crafting strong weapons and items.

Players may also place box cubes of three different sizes (small, medium, and big), and they’ll return items and tools. Rewards are granted by bigger traps.

Its also possible to search animals like wolves, bears and much much more. Crafting arrows effective against them will likely be helpful in mastering this activity. Hunting yields Hunting Points, which can be spent in a committed NPC for coins, gems, and more.
