Last year, Nicalis Disclosed that they were Operating Using Lizardcube and DotEmu to Launch a physical Variant for last year’s Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap on Nintendo Switch and PS4 at Q1 2018. Today, the contents of the physical variant were revealed, as was its launch date: February 13.
Only the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will soon be receiving this definitive physical release, and they’ll charge $39.99, which is significantly greater than the game’s current price tag. That having been said, the very first round of bodily prints may also have reversible cover artwork, a physical documentation, a CD with twelve Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap’s monitors, along with a PVC Strap with Lizard-Man onto it.
For those of you who don’t understand, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is a picture of the 1989 Sega Master System name Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap. The game’s visuals and soundtrack are completely remade, but can be toggled back to the originals in the press of a button. It released on multiple platforms April, and immediately became one of my favorites names of all the calendar year, garnering a shining review from myself and also a spot on my Top 10 Games of all 2017 list.
It is possible to watch the preview that shows the release date of this bodily PS4 and Switch versions of the game below.
