Jools Watsham Sheds Light on Upcoming Projects; Soccer Slam, Treasurenauts, and More

Alongside that an exposé to the internal machinations of indie sales, advertising, and success on Nintendo Switch, developer Atooi’s  creator Jools Watsham has a whole lot to express about his forthcoming projects. Besides the famous commodity — Xeodrifter along with  Totes the Goat in the horizon — Watsham has shown two new projects such as Nintendo Switch and fleshed out what we can count on from his following, most ambitious title yet.

The first demonstrated project is really a Nintendo Switch arcade soccer name, Soccer Slammers.   Drawing inspiration in the NBA Jam series, the game will comprise 2-on-2 gameplay in a block-heavy stylized world. From the screenshot (seen in the feature picture), you can observe real team nationalities play which is a wonderful addition. Even better, gamers need to have the ability to receive their hands in the game by June 14, 2018 or even July 15, 2018 since Watsham mentions the game will be available “ahead of the World Cup. It isn’t apparent if he’s speaking about the end or the start, but the date is fast approaching.

Instead of announcing a formal launch, Watsham instead nudges that the game will be getting an impending Kickstarter campaign as Chicken Wiggle: Re-hatched.

Last but not least was a general upgrade on Treasurenauts — Watsham’s crucial upcoming undertaking inherited by the Renegade Kid split, he claims “is the amalgamation of everything that [he has] heard about platformers. ” Not much is really known no matter how the work of gameplay design is complete. At this point, Treasurenauts is just fine polishing and tweaking gameplay and will be playable for E3 2018. But due to constraints, Watsham needs to place a significant quantity of weight behind the smaller jobs and vents to keep Atooi comfortably afloat.
