Fortnite’s Next Big Changes Include 60 FPS on Consoles, Private Matchmaking, and More

As   Fortnite‘s numbers begin to rise to record-breaking levels, programmer Epic Games will be keeping a watch on what is coming up from the game’ future. In a comprehensive blog post, Epic demonstrated that Fortnite gamers across all platforms can anticipate major improvements — most notably a 60 FPS style for all consoles, new things, fixed audio design, and new modes.

The most noteworthy opinion in the news in the extensive blog article is really that Fortnite will have a 60 FPS mode for all home consoles — whether you play on a base PlayStation 4 or even the top-of-the-line Xbox One X. While Epic is way from affirming “60 FPS” specifically, the new style will likely be “tuned for every console to maximize frame rate while decreasing loss of visual quality. ” Better yet, Fortnite gamers can expect that the upgrade to come before March.

Outside technical achievements, Epic was pleased to boast on some of the newest artwork changes that they’re producing this year — including fresh gliders and pick-axes. Seen in the gallery below, a few of these theories seem festively tuned for Chinese New Year, although others are maybe capitalizing about the recently-renewed fascination with space travel. Oh, and the party animal pickaxe:

But that isn’t to mention that items are limited to art variations — based on the development group, they are prototyping consumables and weapons. Nevertheless, in the meantime, SMG’s will be tabled starting next week, an option made to free up gameplay alternatives for other weapons. The SMG allegedly “may or may not go back. ”

Weapons are just one approach to substantively change gameplay, but game modes — especially Restricted Time Modes — are more interesting. Restricted Time Modes (like the 50v50 mode that has been introduced in The Game awards) offer unique ways to play the game and possibly changes to permanent manner. In that vein, Epic is Seeking to test the following different modes in “the next month or two so”:

  • Drop into the first circle
  • Normally less time involving bands
  • Team dimensions Between 50v50 and squads
  • 50v50 v2
    • Closer to the 50v50 Trailer experience
    • Split to begin
    • Converge on Fight
    • Bus for every team
    • Watch all your squadmates about the map
    • More provide drops
  • Last but not least — especially with the  larger   Fortnite neighborhood — is a upgrade on sound equilibrium. In the last month, it has generated the occasional concern given the noise varied between being too silent to hear footsteps or so loudly that construction and also gunfire made it impossible to communicate. The brand new audio layout will gamers a much better understanding where enemies are coming from than you.

As mentioned before, it’s no wonder that Fortnite is being so pro-actively concentrated on because the game competes using  PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for market talk of the battle royale genre. Epic Games is indeed inspired by the project that they have made from long-term products like   Pargaon because they continue growing  Fortnite.

Fortnite is available now as a free-to-play game for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the art assets under:
