It certainly piqued my interest, however, it had not yet got a firm launch date, just a vague “ancient 2018” launch window. That changed today, however, as Lienzo has revealed while the game will soon be hitting PC, PS4, Xbox One, along with Nintendo Switch.
The PC and PS4 versions of Mulaka will likely be the first to launch, coming from February 27. The Nintendo Switch version of this game comes alongside March 1, with the Xbox One interface rounding things out when it releases March 2. The game is now available to pre-order programs, with some of its profits going into an NGO which supports both the Tarahumara’s region. These NGO contributions will also last once Mulaka was introduced on all platforms.
For people who wish to find out more about this Tarahumara culture, Lienzo has previously published a series of movies which go into detail concerning the culture, its people, and its mythology. It’s definitely an intriguing watch for all those who like history, particularly since it is a aspect of Mexican culture that isn’t composed often in mainstream press or education.
In accordance with Lienzo, their research wound up spawning a game that includes barbarous lien combat, a low-poly yet vibrant art style, the capability to turn into a demigod, and enemies based on mythological animals that aren’t that well known. That said, Lienzo considers that the entire game an authentic representation of those indigenous men and women, and will instruct people to a subject they don’t understand about.
You can see the trailer that reveals the game’s launch date under. Mulaka will discharge for about $19.99 on PC and PS4 February 27, Nintendo Switch March 1, and also Xbox One March 2.
