For The King Out of Early Access in April; Comes to Consoles in 2019

Publisher Curve Digital and developer IronOak Games Declared For The King will Soon Be coming out of early Accessibility in April Using PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Also Nintendo Switch Variations set to launch in Ancient 2019.

For The King is a rogue-like RPG — mixing gameplay elements out of JRPGs and strategy games — where you’ll investigate and battle over the kingdom of Fahrul to avenge your murdered King. The quests, maps, and events will be procedurally created making each playthrough feel fresh and unique. The game will include solo and co-op (local and online) play so it’s possible to face the various creatures independently or with a friend.

Launched in 2015, IronOak Games is based in Vancouver, Canada and is made up of programmers who have worked on games like Sleeping Dogs, Dead Rising, and Need for Speed. For The King will be the first game the programmer releases.

Early Access has been great for the game, allowing us to listen to fans and make the game powerful, shiny and enjoyable as possible. With its full release, and our new printing deal with Curve, we can’t wait for more players to encounter For The King.”

A Kickstarter campaign for For The King started in 2015 in which it smashed its financing goal of30,000 hitting $87,500. The game then entered early accessibility exactly one year back where it had been priced at $14.99. When the game fully releases for PC at April, this price increases to $19.99.
