PixARK Comes to Steam Early Access and Xbox Games Preview at the End of March

Developer Snail Games is Publishing their new title, PixARK, to Steam’s Early Accessibility and Xbox Games Preview on March 27th. The name mashes up the strike game, ARK: Survival Evolved, right into a Minecraft-esque block world full of 3D pixel dinosaurs and other monsters. In ordinary ARK: Survival Evolved fashion, players gather food and other things necessary for survival, train and journey various animals and dinosaurs, and craft bases by the materials you gathered.

PixARK has both a single player and online multiplayer experience with character progression. Your worlds are randomly generated, so you will never play in the exact same setting as previously, and eight distinct biomes will integrate into each special world you create. You can choose to dive right into one of these creations full of caves, jungles, deserts, and more, or you may simply choose to play PixARK‘s creative mode for imaginative thrills.

Exterior of being accessible for Steam’s Historical Access and the Xbox Games Preview on March 27, PixARK will be available for retail and digital purchase on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime later in 2018. For those struggling to gain early entry to PixARK on Steam or Xbox One, ARK: Survival Evolved has been formally published since last season in August.
