The First Tree Officially Coming to Consoles in the Near Future

Should you’ve ever been a fan of this PC indie game The First Tree and you’ve been wondering why if you’d ever be able to play with it on consoles, then wonder no longer. Today, programmer David Wehle declared that he’s partnered with DO Games to make ports of the titles on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, also Nintendo Switch.

For the ones that don’t know, The First Tree tells two unique stories of a fox looking for his loved ones and a boy searching for his dad. While the game is brief, as it evolves, the fox discovers traces, artifacts, and much more about the boy’s life.

As of this time of this writing, a release date for the console versions of this game still haven’t been revealed, but both David Wehle and DO Games expect to get it out sometime in late 2018. A price for the console version hasn’t been settled, but the PC version now costs $7.99, therefore anticipate a similar price once it launches.

The First Tree was initially released on September 14, 2017, and is currently available on PC and Mac.
