Earlier Prey was rebooted by Bethesda Softworks last calendar year, a sequel to the original 2006 release of Prey had been at the works. Despite being shown off a small number of times, news on Prey 2 finally went quiet before being canceled in 2014.
For those still eulogizing the game’s cancellation, fresh prototype footage of Prey 2 was recently leaked thanks to one Andrew Borman. Approximately one minute of footage was sent to Borman, that functions as the Digital Games Curator at the Museum of Play in New York. Borman reported that the movie question has nothing to do with his job and stated that he looks forward to getting more to discuss later on.
The movie mostly shows off battle that would have been featured at Prey 2 as well as a handful of guns that players could have experienced at their disposal. In addition, we get some cool appearances at the game’s setting which was going to take place onto a dystopian alien world. None of that is different from what we had found of Prey 2 at the past, however it’s cool nonetheless simply since there’s likely not much footage of the game abandoned.
It is possible to discover the original tweet from Borman below together with the footage of Prey 2 added. Prey 2 is scheduled to never launch and won’t be coming to any platforms since, you understand it’s also canceled. Luckily, the current Prey reboot could be getting some DLC in the future if yells from programmer Arkane Studios is any sign.
