Destiny 2 introduced last autumn and at that time, Bungie was steadily adding on and updating the game with brand new content and upgrades, and now the programmer is bringing another huge set of upgrades to this game more than six months since its release.
In a fresh upgrade from Bungie, the developer shown its development roadmap for Destiny 2 through the spring and summer to summarize the forthcoming updates and articles that players can expect in the forthcoming months.
The biggest of these is that the release of the game’s next expansion known as “Warmind,” which will launch across all platforms May 8th, 2018. Bungie stated that the next growth “will send one to new areas to satisfy new heroes and battle new enemies, even” while also assuring “new loot” and fresh actions for players to master. More on the expansion will be revealed in a coming livestream in Bungie on April 24th, 2018.
Together with the expansion, Bungie also detailed the start of the game’s Season Three, which will offer a new strategy for delivering fresh content to The Crucible. In particular, the studio clarified that new maps published with the upcoming Warmind expansion will be available for players in most public matches from the Crucible, while individuals looking to play with them in upcoming private matches with friends might need to buy the expansion to get them which goes into effect with the launch of Warmind and the beginning of Season Three to May 8th, 2018.
Bungie also provided an infographic with more information on community feedback and changes for Season 4, while also providing an infographic on how players are going to be able to access post-launch content, and establishing which material players can access by purchasing expansions and that is accessible to players around all platforms.
