Divinity: Original Sin 2 became a critical and commercial success past year as a result of its compelling RPG gameplay and also co-op expertise, and now those on PC will be getting an appealing update to the forthcoming Definitive Edition this summer, at no cost.
Developer Larian Studios confirmed on the Facebook page (through Game Informer) to Divinity: Original Sin 2 that owners of the game will probably be receiving the upcoming Definitive Edition as a free upgrade when it happens in August, which will attract the PC version to parity with all the game’so release on consoles.
While the particulars of what exactly the Definitive Edition may contain have not yet been shown by Larian Studios, the programmer failed state that “thousands of tweaks and changes are coming in the Definitive Edition,” which means we’ll probably get lots of upgrades to the game since it surfaced this past year, although no word has now come out yet if will include DLC or other added content.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is accessible now on PC, and also the forthcoming Definitive Edition will probably be accessible on PS4, Xbox One, also PC in August. Xbox One owners, however, will have the opportunity to take a look at the game in advance via its addition in the Game Preview Program starting this week.
