With every game nowadays, a new patch can cause a host of other unforeseen troubles, and also Fortnite is no exception. While the server downtown may be finished, it looks like there’s’s something wrong with the game’s next update that is holding it back from being released, since Epic Games has declared that v4.2 of the popular game was delayed.
Sadly, the specific reason for the delay is unknown, however, until it’s released, while this week’s challenges may be live at this time, a number of them will not be obtainable until further notice.
At this time of the writing, there’s been no update as to if v4.2 will soon be available for downloading, although I wouldn’t expect players will have to wait around for too much longer.
Fortnite premiered last July and can be found on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, along with Windows PC, as well as iOS and Android devices.
We’ve found a problem that is likely to postpone the launch of v4.2. As a result of this delay some quests may not work until the build releases.
We’ll update you after we’ve got a more accurate time period.
