Lately, UK programmer 3rd Eye Studios has announced new details about its upcoming indie title Downward Spiral.
According to the press launch, Downward Spiral: Horus Station will launch first on Thursday, May 31 for PC. Additionally, if you own an HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, along with Windows Mixed Reality headset, then you will have the choice to play with the game in virtual reality for $19.99. Even though the PlayStation 4 (with elective PlayStation VR service) is supposed to start sometime this summer, using the official launch date yet to be announced.
Back in Downward Spiral players are tasked with players investigating an abandoned vessel. As you advance through the vacant location, you may unravel the mystery of the space station and it is drifting away endlessly in distance all while fending off the threats that lurk within. To protect yourself from the forthcoming risks, players need to utilize the ship’s upkeep hardware, such as rail guns, and arc welders to carry out threats.
3rd Eye Studios has stated that some of the main selling factors for Downward Spiral include are its air, environmental storytelling, and 70s-inspired soundtrack composed by Ville Valo.
