Chief Executive Officer Strauss Zelnick followed the media release with a remark. Zelnick boasts growth in sales driven by continuing customer spending (IE: microtransactions), also expects records for the current fiscal year because of  Redemption two, new NBA 2K  along with WWE 2K games.

We heard that a “highly-anticipated name from one of 2K’s main franchises” which was proposed for the current fiscal year will now start in the next, which means between April 1st, 2019 and March 31st, 2020. This game was teased in the previous few fiscal reports, and several believe this to be Borderlands 3. The main reason for the delay is explained as providing the name development period.

While we don’t have any official confirmation about the identification of the postponed game since  Borderlands 3, it’s’s quite inclined to be authentic.

“During the fourth quarter, Take-Two delivered Net Bookings expansion driven by increased continuing consumer spending — including better-than-expected effects from Grand Theft Auto Online.   Our solid execution marked the conclusion of another outstanding year for our Company, emphasized by growth in Net Bookings, earnings and net cash provided by operating activities, together with margin expansion.   Grand Theft Auto Online  along with  NBA 2K  created report results, exceeding our initial expectations, and we benefited from strong continuing earnings of Grand Theft Auto V  and other catalog names.

We expect fiscal 2019 to be another year of profitable growth for Take-Two, such as both record Web Bookings and record net cash provided by operating activities, directed by the launch of Red Dead Redemption two  together with fresh annual releases from NBA 2K  along with  WWE 2K. We’ll also continue to encourage our titles with offerings made to drive involvement and recurrent consumer spending. The highly-anticipated title from among 2K’s biggest franchises, which was planned for release during the present financial year, is currently planned for launch through fiscal 2020 allowing for extra development time. We stay so excited as ever about this name, and expect it to boost our results next financial year.

This year is the 25th anniversary of Take-Two and, over that time, we’ve built our Business to a diversified and rewarding enterprise. Take-Two is extremely well-positioned — creatively, financially and strategically — for continuing development and returns for our investors within the long-term.”
