Moonlighter Goofs on Comparison Videos in “Super Official Platform Trailer”

While we’re than 2 weeks from the release of Moonlighter on PC, PS4,  along with Xbox One, writer 11 Bit Studios has launched a new “Super Official Platform Trailer” showcasing how the game runs on every platform. Throughout the class of this trailer, text on the display brags on the game’s “4K Resolution,” “Realistic Physics,” “Volumetric Smoke,” along with other technical achievements.

Of course, because   Moonlighter is a top-down, pixel art game, ” the trailer proves to be 11 Bit Studios just using business buzzwords to really have a good laugh with the rest of us. While the trailer is mainly a gag, it does succeed in displaying some enticing fresh gameplay footage for the upcoming dungeon-crawler and shopkeeping simulation hybrid.

Moonlighter will soon be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 29th, 2018. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in the works, but no further information is known regarding its launch date.
