NBA Playgrounds 2 Has Been Delayed Indefinitely Less Than a Week Before Release

NBA Playgrounds 2 is almost upon us and is scheduled to release next week. Or it was supposed to.

Recently, developer Saber Interactive declared that the arcade basketball movie was delayed from its preceding May 22 release date and is currently pushed into an indefinite date. After being declared under a month ago, it appeared as though the turn around from show to release was nearly too good to be true. Turns out that it was.

“We have got some information to discuss, but we wish to begin with saying ‘good things come to those who wait.’ There are fascinating things brewing using an NBA Playgrounds franchise which we believe can take arcade basketball to new degrees. We can’t tell you everything today, but we could inform you that this means our launch date of May 22nd will likely be transferred. Please be patient with us, we promise that NBA Playgrounds 2 is going to be better than ever. We will have more details to share soon. ”

It’s a bit odd to observe a change delay such as this take place under a week until the launch of almost any game but the very best we could do is hope Saber Interactive and believe this delay actually is a great thing for your franchise moving ahead. We’ll keep you posted once we next hear word on what this fascinating news is that Saber continues to be teased.

Presently, NBA Playgrounds 2 is scheduled to start PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
