According to the programmer, this venture will result in Crayola-based game publishing PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this fall.
Crayola has dipped in producing video games for platforms like the PC and DS with different businesses, but hasn’t introduced anything notable recently. According to Outright Games, this title will be for “children of all ages,” though not much else is currently known about the game outside its stages and launch window.
Terry Malham, Outright Games’ CEO commented with this new venture with Crayola:
“We are thrilled to partner with Crayola as they return to the video game area. Crayola’s drive to supply kids everywhere with innovative and relevant digital activities continues to be an inspiration to us. As we create entertainment for people of all ages to appreciate, we are eager to combine our expertise to develop a brand-new means of experiencing imagination with Crayola. ”
Meanwhile, the Vice President of Business Development and Global Licensing in Crayola Warren Schorr talked about why they chose to re-enter the movie game scene with the help of all Outright Games:
“”At Crayola we’re inspirational imagination through color and advanced play experiences, and our venture with Outright Games enables us to expand that passion to new and fascinating places. ”
This is surely an intriguing venture, and definitely not one I had been anticipating. That having been said, it will be interesting to find out what the fruits of the partnership are and the way the game turns out when it releases PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this fall.
