For a company that is apparently so behind on getting their online infrastructure right, Nintendo has been hitting it out of the park when it comes to encouraging its games with extra content. Just yesterday Nintendo announced that it will continue to give free updates for Splatoon 2 via 2018, adding six extra months of totally free content than initially promised. Continuing this trend, Nintendo has announced today it will add both Koopa Troopa and Blooper into the approaching title Mario Tennis Aces this summer.
While this news could certainly be more earth-shattering if Nintendo declared that both characters were coming to Super Smash Bros.. Ultimate. it’s nonetheless significant on its own right. For starters, Mario Tennis Aces is basically balanced just like a battling game– every character has their own powerful suits and their very own weak points. For example, characters such as Yoshi have a great deal of speed, however, can be overpowered by lesser characters such as Bowser. Additionally, even characters with similar features sense different to control, as hefty characters like Bowser and Chain Chomp justify incredibly various play styles.
For those willing to get on the court the wait is nearly over as Mario Tennis Aces is going to be published for the Nintendo Switch on June 22nd. As previously stated, Koopa Troopa and Blooper will arrive at the game in July and August respectively.
