The Last of Us Has Sold Over 17 Million Copies Five Years After Release

From its original release in 2013, The Last of Us already had many claiming it had been an instant classic as a result of its incredible sense of storytelling and gritty, otherworldly gameplay, and now five years after its release, Naughty Dog has revealed it’s had quite the sales achievement in the years since.

On the studio’s official Twitter account, Naughty Dog disclosed the April 2018, The Last of Us has sold over 17 million copies worldwide since its debut at 2013, which (probably ) contains sales accounting for its original PS3 name and The Last of Us Remastered, that surfaced PS4 the year after.

Given the game’s impressive achievement so far, it’s no surprise that we’re going to observe a follow up to the game in the form of The Last of Us Part II, which saw a comprehensive new demonstration at E3 2018 including gameplay, and tons of fresh facts concerning the upcoming game are shown by this studio.
