MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Gets Delayed to 2019 to Perfect Single-Player Campaign

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Has Been Postponed until 2019 as detailed by Russ Bullock, President of Piranha Games Inc.. The announcement comes in the form of a Tweet that clarifies it’s being postponed as a way to bring players the ideal single-player encounter.

The last time we found that a single-player effort in the MechWarrior series was back in 2002 under the name MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries. It seems obvious that Piranha Games needs to perfect the name that has been due to launch this December using four player co-op and mod service. Bullock said that they’re going to leave discovering and announcing a specific launch date until MechCon on December 1st.

MechCon will see MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries available to perform as a demonstration and will occur in Vancouver from December 1st to December 2nd.

For those unaware, the MechWarrior titles are put in the BattleTech world and discover players leaping into a large mech and fighting against opposing mechs. The series spans back to the late 1980’s however, the newest devastation trailer to get MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries shows off how much the series has arrived.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be launch sometime in January 2019 for PC.
