Yet again, another publisher has unveiled its lineup of games ahead of Gamescom later this month and this time around it’s Square Enix’s twist.
Amongst the writer ’s western names which are going to be present in Cologne, this year’s upcoming launch of Just Cause 4 won’t be available for play however an exclusive demonstration will be shown. On the frontthe following month’s release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available for demos. Lastly, Life is Strange 2 will soon be making its debut at Gamescom and lovers will have the ability to learn more about the game while also being able to go hands.
On the Japanese front, Final Fantasy XIV will also go back to the show with all the soon-to-be-released Dragon Quest XI additionally coming. By far Square’s largest name at Gamescom is that of Kingdom Hearts III, that will contain two playable demos for players to select between: the Rock Titan manager battle by Hercules or the Toy Box world from Pixar’s Toy Story. As somebody who played with both demos at E3, I’d recommend the Toy Box because it allows for much more real gameplay, though the Rock Titan fight is really awesome and cinematic too.
In addition to this major booth featuring each of the aforementioned games available for show or play, Square Enix may have their very own product and audio booths that will allow you to buy signed or gear records related to some of Square’s properties.
Gamescom is just two weeks away and will occur from August 21 until August 25.
