Developer Drastic Games is prepared to create their debut with Soundfall. Inspired by alumni by Epic Games, together with veterans that worked about the immensely common Fortnite, Gears of War, and also the now-dead Paragon, the team finally unveiled their first job: some rhythm-based dungeon crawler using a procedurally-generated atmosphere.
The game, according to a press release with Drastic, will include a “lively mixture of twin-stick shooting and rhythm-based gameplay. ” The player will likely soon be in the shoes of the appropriately-named Melody, a young audiophile who finds herself at the additionally appropriately-named land of Symphonia. That is a world in which music comes into life, and Melody soon finds herself embroiled in a conflict against a dark force called Discord–however, not the conversation application.
The degrees, loot, enemies and much more elements of the game’s environment dynamically respond to the music from the game, and players will have to struggle and traverse the entire world in sync with the defeat. The game will feature both online and local four-player amalgamated gameplay.
Soundfall will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, also PC sometime in 2019. Attendees of both all PAX West, EGX, and PAX Australia this season will have the ability to play with a demo of the game. Take a look at the first trailer along with a litany of screenshots below.
