Earlier this summer in E3, Sony declared that this year’s launch of God of War would shortly be receiving a New Game+ option to allow players to play through the game once again with all of their gear and updates undamaged. We know exactly when this update will soon probably be rolling out and its earlier than you might think.
Sony revealed today that New Game+ will eventually be making its way into God of War on August 20. This may, of course, be a free upgrade for your game and will be available for those who have finished the narrative in God of War. As for what else will be included in this upgrade, Santa Monica Studios stated that there will be new gear, tools, more difficult enemies with “fool their sleeves”, along with also the capacity to now skip through cinematics — but seriously though, who would do this?
On a front door, I’ve been considering replaying God of War a lot recently and this New Game+ option might eventually get me to jump back in. I’ve been down to go through the great story that Sony Santa Monica crafted around again, but with enemy versions and brand new items coming to play, this might eventually push me over the border.
If you haven’t performed God of War for yourself, then you likely should as we gave it our highest score possible in our inspection here at DualShockers. Then again, there’s probably a great possibility you’ve played it since God of War is the fastest selling PlayStation exclusive of all time .
