Rocket League Cross-Platform Parties Will Be Ready By September

Even though Rocket League has confirmed restricted cross-platform play for quite sometime, the game hasn’t let players of various platforms party up. But programmer Psyonix has frequently teased the inclusion of cross-platform parties, along with the company announced today that the feature will finally come this September.

Per a blog post from Psyonix, the system is going to be called “RocketID. It has been pushed right back to the month later, ” Though the programmer intended to roll out the feature this month. Needless to say, the update will likely be subject to certificate from the platform holders. Those familiar with the Fortnite cross-play snafu will remember that the attribute was contemptuous, using Fortnite along with Rocket League not allowing PS4 players to play with those on the Xbox One and Switch.

However, the news is large for Rocket League lovers, as cross-platform drama friends was just previously available in personal matches. Psyonix continues to discuss the big August update which was previously declared, and plugged the upcoming Rocket Pass progression system which is going to be added per week following the August update rolls out.
