Last week Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it has sold 500 million PlayStation consoles because the glory years of their original PS1 (to be precise 525.3 million units, of which 81.2 million have been PS4 consoles). Even though Sony is celebrating using a really beautiful limited edition PS4 Pro, the theme wizards in Truant Pixels decided to throw their own party.
They published a picture of a functioning concept of a dynamic motif inspired from the first PlayStation, showing the veteran console together with its glory that was see-through. The theme is fully functional and has been recorded directly from among Truant Pixel’s PS4 devkits.
Regrettably, it probably won’t be released, since it would require Sony’s permission. In addition to that, it would not be possible to present the Sony Computer Entertainment logo as is, since the business doesn’t exist anymore.
That being said, we hear that the group would “jump at the opportunity ” to launch the subject lawfully if Sony offered it. Last year that they started a “Legacy Theme” paying homage to the PS2.
